Respectful Workplace Sensitivity: eLearning Course

This eLearning course addresses the real-world expectations of professional conduct in today’s workplaces. Designed for employees who need to reflect on past behaviour or reinforce respectful habits, the training helps participants understand the impact of their actions, recognize inappropriate conduct, and meet workplace expectations.

Through interactive modules and scenario learning, participants will explore key concepts including welcome vs. unwelcome behaviour, impact vs. intent, effective communication, emotional intelligence, conflict management, bystander intervention, and personal boundaries. The course highlights the importance of self-awareness and accountability while reinforcing the legal and cultural expectations of respectful conduct.

Recognize and Prevent Inappropriate Workplace Conduct – Identify workplace harassment, bullying, and violence; distinguish between welcome and unwelcome behaviours; and apply the “reasonable person” standard.

1. Understand the Impact of Inappropriate Behaviour – Explain why conduct is evaluated by its impact rather than intent, describe potential psychological, physical, and legal consequences, and take responsibility for personal actions.
